Samuel C. Krauskop Sr., 85, entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2025 at home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert Krauskop and Esther Wright. He was lovingly raised by his mother and step father Harry Yarnell.

Sam spent many years driving truck, a job he took great pride in. Later, he worked at Scooter Warehouse where he repaired and serviced scooters.

Sam had a passion for shuffleboard and proudly served as president of his local shuffleboard club. Sam was a dedicated member of the VFW and the Riverside Club, where he spent many enjoyable hours with friends. He also enjoyed being in nature, fishing, cracking jokes with his particular sense of humor, and trying his luck at the casino. Sam never passed up the chance to have a good time and was always up for a laugh.

Sam is survived by his two brothers, Robert Krauskop and Harry Yarnell, as well as five children: Samuel Krauskop Jr., Robert Krauskop, Sheri Torres, and Kay Hammonds. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no formal memorial service. In honor of Sam’s love for nature, the family invites you to plant a flower, tree, or spend time outdoors in his memory.
