Sheryl R. Bagshaw

Sheryl R. Bagshaw, 85, of Gap, passed away Aug 26, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.

Sherry was born in England November 25, 1940, and was the adopted daughter of John (Jack) Dawkins, who died when she was a child, and Roland & Lois Eustace. She attended nursing school in England and became a Nanny, traveling to San Franscisco as the nanny for a family. After some time, she wanted to see the east coast and traveled across the country, finding work on a horse farm in Chester Springs, PA. 

She met & married her husband, Richard. Desiring to have horses of her own, they moved to Heavenly View Farm in Gap. Sherry was very involved with the community in Gap, volunteering for the Girl Scouts for 30+ years and the White Horse Fire Co. Auxiliary. She was involved with the Sadsbury Garden Club, Salisbury Historical Society & Daughters of the British Empire.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Richard. She is survived by daughters Alice, fiancé of Bill, of Gap and Lois, of Atglen, as well as grandchildren Nathan, Alex and wife Annalisa, and Emily. She has 1 great grandson, Enzo.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
