Stephen E. Horanic

Stephen E. Horanic, 69, of Harrisburg, passed away on April 10, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Born in Harrisburg in 1956 to the late Stephen and E. Pauline (Gabbard) Horanic, Stephen worked for the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed classic cars and was a proud member of the Antique Automobile Club of America (Hershey) and the Highspire Ambulance and Fire Association.

He is survived by his siblings, Mary Morris, Nancy Ford, Joni Fertenbaugh (William), Michael Horanic (Bonnie), Cheryl Rutter (Jeff), and Kim Dobson (Pat), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Hamilton, and his brother, Frederick Horanic.

As per the family’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
