Tina Marie Cunrod, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Nyla Collins, with whom she shared 38 years of love, laughter, memories, and an extraordinary bond.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Tina was the daughter of Thomas “Tom” Cunrod and Josephine “Josie” Ridenour and was one of six children. From an early age, Tina had a love for softball and enjoyed playing in her youth. Throughout her life, she found joy in the simple things that made each day special.

Tina was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and took great pride in caring for her home and yard. She could often be found mowing the grass, tending to her gardens, or making sure everything was just right. She treasured time with her family, especially taking her mother to bingo and enjoying her every-other-weekend tradition of coffee and donuts with her Dad and Judy. Her dogs were also a very special part of her life, and she loved nothing more than caring for and spoiling them.

Tina had a generous heart and was always willing to help others whenever she could. She gave freely and never hesitated to lend a hand to someone in need. She enjoyed watching Big Brother with Nyla, sharing quiet moments and everyday adventures together.

But above all else, Tina loved her family deeply.

She adored her only child, her “baby boy,” John, and treasured her three grandchildren. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she loved every opportunity to spoil them. Some of her happiest memories were made during beach trips with John and his family, where she could enjoy precious time together and create memories that will be cherished forever.

Tina’s greatest love story was the one she shared with her wife and best friend, Nyla. For 38 years, they walked through life side by side. They shared countless wonderful memories, laughter, challenges, adventures, and a love that was deeper than many people ever have the privilege of knowing. Nyla was not only Tina’s wife, but her best friend, companion, and the person with whom she shared her life.

Tina was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Josie; her brothers, Tim and Terry; her nephew, Bubba; and her niece, Jennifer.

She leaves behind those who will forever carry her memory in their hearts, including her beloved wife, Nyla; her father, Tom, and his wife, Judy; her sister, Tammy; her brothers, Tom and Ted; her son, John, and his wife, Kim; and her three cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Myranda, and Aydin. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, generosity, and love.

Tina will be remembered for her generous spirit, her fierce love for her family, her devotion to those she cared about, her love of animals, her sense of humor, and the countless little ways she made the lives of others better. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will continue to live on in everyone who knew her.

Though she is no longer here to share a cup of coffee, cheer for the Eagles, tend to her gardens, watch Big Brother, take a trip to the beach, or spoil her grandchildren, Tina’s love will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was deeply loved. She will be profoundly missed. And she will never be forgotten.
