Valerie Eileen Harring

Valerie Eileen Harring, 70, of Carlisle, passed away at UPMC Westshore on May 27, 2026. Born in Aberdeen, MD to the late Jack E. and Evelyn (Stevens) Quinn, she was a 1973 graduate of Chambersburg High School and the loving wife of Kevin Wade Harring.

She was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Specialist 4 Clerk for the first SGT, and was a seamstress for the Central PA Youth Ballet. In addition, she worked in various food services.

Valerie was active in Lighthouse Church of God in Carlisle and enjoyed her work at the US Naval Commission Daycare Center in Mechanicsburg.

In addition to her husband, Kevin, she is survived by her daughter Sunshine R. Harring, wife of Charles Zuzzio; her daughter Heather A. Harring Wilfong; her daughter, Lisa L. Harring; her grandchildren, Tree Zuzzio, Penelope Zuzzio, Oliver Zuzzio, Zayne Harring and Zoey Harring; as well as extended family and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, at 5pm at Lighthouse Church of God, 910 Cavalry Rd Carlisle, PA.
