Walter E. Eachus, 94, of Reading, died peacefully Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in the comfort of his family's presence. His life began April 10, 1928, in Philadelphia. He was born to Walter and Gertrude (Keely) Eachus. He married Irma Jones and they raised their family together. Walter served in the Army and later worked for Pillsbury as a mixer operator. He helped make cookies and biscuits. Walter enjoyed playing bingo, bocci, and cards with his fellow residents at Berkshire Commons. Walter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Steven (Karen) Eachus of Lynchburg, VA. , Michael (Lisa) Eachus of The Villages, FL. , Fran (Ralph) Ramig of Pottstown, PA. , Joan Durborow of Birdsboro, PA. , Judy Durborow of Delaware and Rick Durborow of Deleware. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Irma, and three daughters, Sharon, Janice and Debra Meitzler. No services are planned at this time.
