William (“Bill”) Neal Sybert , 72, of Red Lion, passed away at Inners Creek Nursing & Rehab on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1953 to the late Cornelius and Patricia (Terry) Sybert, he was the loving husband of Barbara (Ruff) Sybert.
He was a graduate of Loyola High School and attended Loyola College. He entered the food & beverage industry as a restaurant manager and later owner. Later, he worked in Business-to-Business Office Supply Sales. Outside of work Bill worked with various groups through the years including Junior Achievement, Vacation Bible school at his church, and Compassion York - an organization that fed the less fortunate in York City, Pa.
Bill was a member of Felton Bethany United Methodist Church in Felton, PA.
Outside of his career and civic responsibilities, Bill enjoyed being with family and friends and all things culinary including grilling and eating crabs. In addition, he enjoyed drawing/painting, photography, cross country skiing, reading, woodworking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy!. He was also an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
Bill was a loving and devoted husband to Barbara and a wonderful father to two fantastic children, Kirby and Emily. They were his everything! Bill was a people person and always enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sybert and his children, Kirby Sybert and Emily Sybert.
A memorial service for Bill will be held at Felton Bethany United Methodist Church (49 High Street, Felton, PA) on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 12:00PM with visitation beginning at 10:30AM until the time of the service.
