William M. Newton, 62, of Felton, passed away at Inners Creek Nursing & Rehab on May 20, 2026. Born in Baltimore to the late Billy and Faye (Lloyd) Newton, he was the loving husband of Donna L. (Arendt) Newton, and a graduate of York County School of Technology.
William worked as a truck driver carrying over-the-road freight for over 25 years and was a longtime fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He loved motorcycles, helping various charities plan motorcycle rides, and was involved in Freedom Biker Church in Leader Heights, PA.
William was also a member of the American Legion, American Legion Riders, and Hudson Memorial Ride for DIPG awareness.
In addition to his wife, Donna, William is survived by his children, Amie Newton, William Newton Jr (husband of Sara), and Stefanie Johnson (wife of Tim); grandchildren Owen Johnson, Luke Newton, and Henry Johnson; his furbabies, Sheba, Stella, and Queenie; his siblings, David Newton, Brenda Newton, Tina Cox, Jeanie Groft; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Freedom Biker Church on June 22 at 1pm. 2250 Pine Grove Rd, York, PA, 17403
