Wilma V. Fromm, 91, of Gap, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Lancaster Nursing & Rehab. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late William and Evelynn (Schreider) Tait. She was the loving wife of Melvin Fromm, Sr. She is survived by her son, Melvin Fromm, Jr., of Gap.

Wilma's faith was an important part of her life. She loved the Lord and enjoyed watching Joel Olsteen. She was always happy to visit and worship at churches whenever the opportunity arose. Wilma faithfully attended Bible Study and Worship Services at Lancaster Nursing & Rehab.

Wilma worked at Walmart in Parkesburg from the store's opening day until her retirement in May of 2023. Over the years she served in a variety of roles, including the produce department, garden center, door greeter, and fitting room associate. Her strong work ethic and dedication remained evident throughout her career, and retired at the age of 88.

Wilma enjoyed staying active through exercise, shopping, occasional trips to the casino, and watching scary movies. She loved playing bingo and seemed to have a special knack for winning.

For decades, Wilma supported both the Gap and White Horse Fire Companies through her yearly donations, expressing her gratitude for their unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.

Funeral Services for Wilma will be private and at the convenience of the family.
